স্বপ্নময়ী শৈশব

সেই জোছনা দিন গুলো আজ নেই;
জানি না তারা কোথায়,
শুধু জানি তারা আজ আর নেই!
উদাসী বিকেলে মনের মাঝে স্বপ্ন আঁকা;
সেই হলুদ প্রজাপতি গুলো আজ আর নেই,
তারা আর তাদের কোমল ডানায়
স্বপ্ন নিয়ে আসে না।
ছুট ফড়িং গুলো আর আমায় ডাকে না,
তাহলে তারা কি ভুলে গেছে আমায়!
সত্যিই কি ভুলে গেছে?
নিঝুম বারান্দায় আমি এখনো দাঁড়াই,
কিন্তু নারিকেল গাছের আড়ালে চাঁদটা আর ওঠে না।
স্বপ্ন এখনো দেখতে চাই,
কিন্তু সেই স্বপ্নের দিন গুলো স্বপ্নতে আর আসে না।
রাত জোছনা নিয়ে
খেলা করার কথা এখনো মনে পরে।
কিন্তু সে দিন গুলো আর নেই;
কারন আমার স্বপ্নময়ী শৈশব গেছে
আমায় ছেড়ে বহু দূরে।

Those hot days are not today;
Don't know where they are
Just know they are no more today!
Draw dreams in the midst of a sad afternoon;
Those yellow butterflies are no more today,
They are on their soft wings
Don't bring dreams.
Splinters don't call me anymore,
Then they have forgotten me!
Really forgotten?
I stand still on the balcony,
But under the coconut tree
the moon does not rise again.
Still want to dream
But those dream days don't come in dreams anymore.
At night with cold
I still remember playing.
But those days are no more;
Because I have a dreamy childhood
Far away from me.
