ঐ দেখো ঐ আসছে গ্রীষ্ম

আকাশ ভাঙা রোদ

চারিদিকে শুনি পোড়া হাহাকার

নেই শান্ত স্রোত!

গ্রীষ্ম এলো রুক্ষ মৌসুম

খিটখিটে ভাব নিয়ে।

সব যাচ্ছে ধুয়ে মুছে দেখো

গ্রীষ্মের রোদ দিয়ে।

সবুজ মাঠে সোনালি ফসল

যেন স্বর্ণ ছড়া

গ্রীষ্মের রোদে করে ঝলমল

সে ফসলের ধারা।

গ্রীষ্ম এলো রুক্ষ মৌসুম

তাপের আগুন নিয়ে

খাল শুকালো বিল শুকালো

সে তাপের আগুন দিয়ে।

মাটির বুকে ধরলো যে চিড়

মাটির বুকটা ফেটে চৌচির

গ্রীষ্ম এলো ধুধু প্রান্তর

ধুধু করে চারিদিক

সবাই যেন গ্রীষ্মের কাছে

শিখছে নতুন শিখ।

Look at that coming summer
Sky breaking sunshine
The burning sensation is heard all around
No quiet currents!

Summer is a rough season
With a tetchy feeling.
Wash it all off
With the sunshine of summer.

Gold crop in the green field
It's like gold
The sun shines in the sun
That's the crop.

Summer is a rough season
With a heat fire
Canal drying bill is dry
It's with a heat fire.

The puddle that caught the ground
The chest of the ground burst
Summer came to the desert
All around
Everyone is near summer
The new Learn is learning.
