মাঝ রাতে ঘুম ভেঙ্গে গেলে

রাস্তা দিয়ে হেটে গেলে

সেই ফেলে আসা রাস্তার মাঝে

রাস্তা-ঘাট, গাড়ি-ঘোড়া,
দোকান-পাট, কেনা-বেচা
মানুষজন করে কোলাহল;
বসে বসে তোমাকে দেখা
হাসতে হাসতে কথা বলা।
হারালি কোথায় আমাকে ফেলে
ফিরে আই তুই ফিরে আই..!
সবটা যখন স্তব্ধ থেকে যায়
