বন্ধু মানে

বন্ধু মানে আশার আলো

ভরসায় ভরা হাত

বন্ধু মানে আঁধার রাতে

আলোকিত এক চাঁদ।

বন্ধু মানে অনেক কষ্টে

একটু খানি সুখ

বন্ধু মানে দুঃসময়ে

হাসি ভরা এক মুখ।

বন্ধু মানে মন জোনাকি;

বিশ্বাসে ছোঁয়া হাত

বন্ধু মানে আড্ডায় ঘেরা

চাঁদনী একটা রাত।

বন্ধু মানে সমাধান নেই

তবুও পাশে আছি

বন্ধু মানে দুজন মিলে

এক সাথে চল বাঁচি।

রক্তের সম্পর্ক না তবু

রক্তের চেয়েও আপন।

বন্ধুত্ত্ব এই অর্থটা;

কে বা বুঝেছে কখন?

Hands full of confidence

Friend means dark night

One moon illuminated.

Friend means a lot of trouble

A little bit of happiness

Friends means hard times

A face full of smiles.

Friend means mind firefly;

Hands touched in faith

Friend means surrounded by chat

Chandni is a night.

Friend means there is no solution

Still on the side

Friend means two together

Let's live together

Not a blood relationship though

Yours more than blood.

Friendship means this;

Who understands when?
