স্নিগ্ধ সকাল মুগ্ধ বাতাস
শিশির ভেজা ঘাস
নীল কমলের কোমল জলে
সেথায় আমার বাস।
নীল আকাশের রাঙা গায়
রংধনুরা ভেসে যায়
ঘুম ভাঙানো পাখি তোরা
যেথায় উড়ে যাস
সেথায় আমি থাকি ও ভাই
সেথায় আমার বাস।
থাকি আমি সে ভূমি
স্বপ্ন যেথায় চরণ চুমির
বার্তা দিয়ে যায়
সে দেশেতে খুঁজলে তুমি,
আমায় পাবে ভাই।
সরিষা ফুলের সবুজ পাতায়
লাউ পাতার ঐ কোমল ডগায়
নতুন দিনের গল্প যেথায়
দোলা দিয়ে যায়
খুঁজে দেখো সেখানেতে
পাবে আমায় ভাই।
গ্রাম বাংলায় জন্ম আমার
রূপসী আমার দেশ
এখানেতেই যেন আমার
জীবন হয় কো শেষ।
