বীরেরা আমার লাথি খায় পেটে;
হায়নার ভাগে সুখ
১৫-৩০ এ নেতা হারালাম
এক বুক ভরা দুখ।
গভীর রাতে রক্ত বৃষ্টি
ভোরের আলোয় ঝড়,
দুপুরের রোদে দুর্ভিক্ষ
সন্ধ্যায় পোড়া ঘর।
বীরেরা কি তবু হটেছে পিছু
রাতকে করেছে ভয়?
সবশেষে তারা নিয়েছে খুঁজে
প্রভাতের আশ্রয়।
এই বীরেরাই তো সেই বীর
লাঞ্চিত যারা আজ
তবে কি মা তাদের চোখে
একটুও নেই লাজ।

Heroes got kick in the stomach;
Happiness on the part of the hyenas
I lost the leader at 15-30
One chest full of sorrow.
Late night blood rain
Storm in the morning light,
Famine in the midday sun
Burnt house in the evening.
Did the heroes retreat?
Fear of the night?
Finally find out they have taken
Morning shelter.
These heroes are those heroes
Those who are humiliated today
But what mother in their eyes
There is no shame.
